Environmental
sensors are an addition to your intrusion alarm system to further protect
you and your property from fire, flood and carbon monoxide gases.
Sensors include:
- SMOKE DETECTORS connected to your alarm system send a signal to our monitoring station in case of fire.
- HEAT DETECTORS are used in circumstances where smoke detectors will not work effectively (such as dusty environments).
- FLOOD DETECTORS are used to alert the monitoring station that
there is excessive moisture in the premises from burst pipes, overflowing
sump pumps, flood, etc.
- LOW TEMPERATURE SENSORS alert the monitoring station when the
temperature in your premises drops below a pre-determined level. This
is particularly useful to protect temperature sensitive businesses and
premises from frozen pipes, etc during the winter months.
- CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS notify or alert you to the high level of CO2 in your premises. When the monitoring station receives this signal, our Gaurd Service is used to ensure everyone is safe.
